LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Our lessons are conducted in private groups up to 4 family members or friends, making group management easier & more time learning & fishing, we believe this is most productive environment for adults & children alike.

YOUNGER GENERATION

Children are encouraged to cast lures & learn the correct techniques & skills needed to fish effectively. We recommend age 7+ for bait fishing, spinning & 10+ learning stream craft.

MOST PRODUCTIVE TIMES

First light & late afternoon into the evening are ideal fish feeding times. Insect hatches are the most common cause for trout to rise and surface feed.

BE PREPARED

Weather conditions can change quickly in the Snowy Mountains & alpine regions. Always check the forecast for the day & have a small backpack with warm, wet weather or sunny gear. Using layers during winter mornings is a good idea so you can take some off as it warms up.

CATCH GUARANTEE

Our lessons are designed to give you the skills (& patience) needed to catch trout. Please be mindful trout are wild animals & depending on your lesson time & weather conditions, we may catch a trout or catch nothing.

SUPERVISION

For lessons where 4 children are attending we recommend a parent or guardian be present incase of emergency.
